One Of God’s Gifts To Us

It’s both flexible and strong.
You really can’t go wrong.
Perfect for furniture or floor.
It’s really something to adore.
Long and tall, thin and thick,
Its more than just a pretty stick.

It often has more than one hue.
It’s quite a lovely sight to view.
From lemon lime to dark jungle green,
Its color gives off an amazing sheen.
From reddish brown to golden tan,
It’s palette often admired by man.

It is by far the perfect material.
Fields of it sound light and ethereal,
Swaying tall in the soft, cool breeze,
Rustling out it’s peaceful melodies,
Soothing sounds for one to hear,
Embellishing the Earth’s atmosphere.

A resource that grows strong and quickly.
An asset that grows dense and thickly.
A plentiful bounty for man or beast
For one to employ or for the Earth to feast.
Lighter than Oak, Pine, or Yew
Not a rough wood, but the gentle bamboo.
