The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

I know I haven’t written in a while.
I’m finding it hard these days to produce a smile,

With the world around us going crazy,
The future looks dark, dim, and hazy.

But there is a light that we’re all searching for
If we just reach out and open the door;

A light that will brighten the darkest haze
And help us through the most dangerous maze;

A light that is given to us by our Father above;
A light that is filled with guidance and love.

We just need to continue to fix our eyes on Him
And let the light shine through and make the world less dim.

So open the door and let the light shine full scale.
For with enough light the dark will never prevail.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”John 8:12
