Window of Life

I looked out the window,
The window of life,
Only to find
Destruction and strife.

I looked to the left
And what did I see?
People all laughing,
Laughing at me.

I looked to the right
And what did I find?
Uncaring sinners,
Sinners, all kinds.

But I looked toward Heaven,
Happy to see
Jesus, my Lord
Smiling at me!
