It’s Not My Thing, But It’s Something

If you have a thing that you like to do,
Do it with passion even if it’s just for you.
Let no one tell you it’s not worth while,
As long as it’s something that makes you smile.
Let no one tell you that it’s a waste of time,
Even if it fails or won’t make one dime.
It’s your thing and that’s just fine.
It can be of value even if it’s not mine.

We all have our own thing that makes us unique.
Let’s see each other’s value before we critique.
We all have our own interest and talent.
Let’s appreciate what makes each other valient.
We all want a way to contribute what we know.
Let’s recognize how each other’s thing can help us grow.
