This Is the Day…Easter

This is the day He rose for me
After dying on a cross on Calvary.
This is the day He rolled away stone
To show us that we are not all alone.

This is the day His task was complete
After atoning for sin with nailed hands and nailed feet.
This is the day all hopelessness was cured
Because of the pain He earlier endured.

This is the day we have all come to know
How great lengths are taken for His love to show.
