Teddy Bears

In honor of World Bear Day

Written at age 12 in the hospital surrounded by my favorite gift, stuffed teddy bears to keep me company.

Teddy bears have no cares.
Teddy bears make no dares.
Teddy bears are often mute.
Teddy bears are, oh, so cute.

Teddy bears never lie.
Teddy bears never die.
Teddy bears never hurry.
Teddy bears are nice and furry.
