How many times must
And elephant sneeze
Before he falls down
On his elephant knees.

How many times must
A hyena laugh
Before he splits his sides
In hyena halves.

How many times must
A gorilla play
The drums on his chest
Before you’ll run away.

How many times must
A kitty cat lap
Up all his milk
Before his kitty cat nap.

How many times must
A mommy sing
Before her babe
Lays sweetly sleeping.
